A) First use PLDIST with B=NAMES.DS file of -.ds filenames. This program generates NAMES.D9 AND -.D9 files which are edited versions of the data. Be careful, since this program can wipe out previously edited -.D9 files. B) Then use PLAVDS to display the B=NAMES.D9 files. C) For figures, one may use PLDIST1, again with B=NAMES.DS. This program, unlike PLDIST, will not distroy -.d9 or -.d8 files.
